About Me
Hi! I’m Kelsey.
I’m an [architectural] designer and artist based in Atlanta, Georgia.
My career in architecture began in Atlanta when I received my B.S. in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During that time, I was fortunate to have several internship opportunities that helped shape my view of professional practice and increase my passion for design. I also had the opportunity to pursue my interest in architectural history through educational courses in Historic Preservation and professional opportunities of Historic Preservation and Rehabilitation.
I received my Masters in Architecture from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. It was in Charlotte that I developed a focus in Computational Design and Fabrication. This new focus led me to my position as an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology. At NYIT, I taught all levels of Architecture and Interior Design students in studio design courses and in Advanced Modeling and Visualization courses. I continued to pursue opportunities in professional practice, in addition to teaching, and I solidified that design in practice is my real passion.
Since moving back to my home state of Georgia, I have remained on the professional practice side of Architecture, and I am actively pursuing licensure. I have also had the opportunity to utilize my digital design and fabrication skills for the film industry.
